The Kiss Gran Hotel

This series takes its name from the famous Italian magazine Grand Hotel, which played a central role in the spread of photo novels. Camilla Adami often drew inspiration from popular culture magazines and newspapers, reworking them with the depth and ambiguity that characterise her visual language. 

The depiction of these scenes directly recalls the typical narrative of photo novels: ‘Closely embraced, their lips are about to yield to the lure of a kiss...’
